Onco, Inc. Teams with eOutcomes, Inc. to Offer Electronic Physician Staging
and Long-term Patient Follow-up
Onco, Inc. announced today that the company has entered
into an agreement with eOutcomes, Inc. to offer Physician Staging Manager and Follow-up
Manager to their cancer registry and protocol manager software clients.
eOutcomes
utilizes patented technology in the development of web-based applications that streamline
workflow processes, while directly impacting patient care. Their Physician Staging
Manager and Follow-up Manager software essentially eliminate the manual processes
associated with obtaining physician staging and follow-up; allowing healthcare professionals
the ability to perform data analysis rather than simply collect data.
“We appreciate
the challenges our clients face related to physician staging and follow-up and the
opportunity to provide an electronic solution to manage these processes was ideal”,
said Robert Hendrickson, President of Onco, Inc. “Because eOutcomes products integrate
with our OncoLog registry software, our clients have the ability to streamline these
important processes, eliminating the inefficiencies and inaccuracies associated
with current manual processes.”
“As healthcare providers develop more innovative
treatment, the number of cancer survivors is growing; because of this, obtaining
and managing outcomes related information is paramount in the future of cancer care”,
said Daniel Devine, President of eOutcomes, Inc. “Our software spans disease from
the time of diagnosis to long term follow-up, providing an electronic management
solution to capturing this crucial information; improving overall communication,
efficiency, and quality of patient care.”
